Brand Color Contrast Report Generator

Check a brand color against a background color, see the exact contrast ratio, compare common WCAG contrast thresholds, and create a printable report. The calculation runs in your browser; the tool does not require an account, email address, or payment.

What the report checks

The tool compares the selected foreground and background colors. It reports the ratio and checks the thresholds commonly used for normal text, large text, and meaningful interface components. It also creates a monochromatic palette and suggests nearby AA and AAA color options when the original pair needs stronger contrast.

How to use the result

Use the result as a practical starting point when choosing colors for text, buttons, menus, form labels, cards, and graphics. Test colors in the real design as well: font weight, font size, states, gradients, transparency, images, focus indicators, and surrounding colors can change what a visitor actually experiences.

Important limitation

This report checks color contrast only. It is not a full accessibility audit, WCAG conformance evaluation, legal opinion, or certification. It does not test keyboard access, screen-reader behavior, focus order, headings, form labels, error messages, zoom, reflow, or the other requirements needed to evaluate a complete page or website.
